Long-term Non-degree Training Program On Traditional Chinese Medicine Year 2026


1. Majors: 

    Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, or Acupuncture.


2. Application Time:

    December 1, 2025– July 1, 2026


3. Duration:

    6 months - 2 years for one major.  


4. Type of Training: 

 ●

Theoretical Study: Cohort with full time English taught undergraduates and select courses independently (See program curriculum at: https://iec.shutcm.edu.cn/2025/1105/c7742a169955/page.htm ).  

 ●

Clinical Training: Clinical rotation in self-chosen departments of our affiliated hospitals (Hospitals cannot be selected).


5. Learning Language:

    English


6. Eligibility:

  ●

High school or higher education graduate

  ●

For clinical training, medical education background

  ●

English proficiency:


(a) Studied courses taught in English language and transcripts required. OR


(b) TOEFL>90 or IELTS >6 of (non-native English speakers).


7.  Credential: 

    A certificate of completion with transcripts (Completion of minimum 20 credits required).


8.  Application Documents:

Copy of high school diploma or higher education diploma.

  ●

Scan of the passport (Passport info cannot be changed after the submission until the completion of enrollment, thus minimum 10 month’s validity is advised).

  ●

Invoice of the application fee.

  ●

Certificate of no criminal record.

  ●

TOEFL or IELTS certificates (non-native English speakers).

  ●

Rename: Passport Name (English).


Background Color: Blue or White.


Pixel: ≥300 pixels/inch.


Other Requirement: Bareheaded.

    The aforementioned documents must be submitted online at https://apply.shutcm.edu.cn before the deadline. The application will not be processed if the documents are incomplete or sent by email. Applicants may need to submit supplementary documents when the Admissions Office requires.


9.  Fee

  ●

Application fee: CNY 450 / person (the actual amount university receives).

  ●

Tuition fee: CNY 51,000 / year (excluding textbook purchase).
