Introduction of International Education College in ShangHai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Located in the innovative Zhangjiang Free Trade Zone, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) is a research-oriented educational institution with distinctive features and collaborative outreach. The International Education College was founded in December, 1994 to offer TCM education for international students. The College has passed the GB/T 19001-2008/ISO 9001:2008 quality management certificate and obtained the CNAS (China National Accreditation Service) and ANAB (American National Accreditation Board) certificates.

With its beautiful campus, distinguished professors, well-designed curriculum and prestigious hospitals, the University is attracting more and more international students from more than 60 countries. Annually, there are over 1,700 degree students in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture & Tuina, coupled with additional over 1,300 students for non-degree training. The past decades have witnessed the graduation or training of over 10,000 overseas TCM practitioners and acupuncturists. Short-term training courses are taught in Chinse, English, French, Japanese and Korean.
