Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine holds an award ceremony for international students on Jan 12.
International students at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) enjoyed a night with academic awards, delicious dishes and excellent performances on Jan 12.
The event began with Malaysian, Thai and South Korean students pleasing the attendees with a feast of their hometown cuisines.
Hu Hongyi, vice president of SHUTCM, shared his best wishes with the students. He spoke highly of their endeavors and achievements, and encouraged them to keep delving, bring out their potential, and realize more achievements in Chinese medicinal studies.

The event also witnessed a variety of talent shows and Chinese knowledge quizzes. The recital You Touched Me by professor Zhang Lisheng won an overwhelming response from the attendees.
SHUTCM holds an award ceremony for international students every year. It is not only an opportunity for the youths to showcase their talent, but also an approachable way to increase their understanding of Chinese people, culture, and medicine.
