The Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) held an award ceremony for international students on Jan 5 to reward their endeavors over the past year.
The ceremony started with a buffet dinner offering a variety of global delicacies.
Students from South Korea and Japan presented audiences with singing and dancing performances, while others from Malaysia, Thailand and Kazakhstan delighted the crowd with their exquisite traditional costumes.
The ceremony saw a number of prizes awarded, including scholarships for the academic achievement and certificates for active participation in cultural and sports activities throughout the year.
The prize-winning students extended their gratitude to SHUTCM, and shared experiences on learning and campus life.
The annual award ceremony is more than an important stage for international students to showcase their talent, but also a famous cultural platform for SHUTCM students to share their thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for life.
