Closing Ceremony for the 257th International Acupuncture Training Course (Introductory)
The closing ceremony for the 257th International Acupuncture Training Course (Introductory) was held on November 29, 2013 at the Lecture Hall, International Cooperation Center. The ceremony was presided by vice director Zhao Hai-lei. Director Yan Xiao-tian, Dr. Li Heng, students and some of their family members were present.
A total of 19 students took part in this 3-month course (428 hours). According to Dr. Li Heng, Xiaoyan Zhang from the United States, Paulus Marie-Pierre from France, Miettinen Henri Petteri from Finland, Supattra Klomkaew from Thailand and Berciu Ionela from Romania obtained outstanding results in examinations of Fundamentals and Diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Meridians and Points, Needling Technique and Acupuncture Treatment.
Chose as the student representative, Anastasia Gabor from Germany gave her thanks to the College Administration, teachers and doctors. She said the 3-month study in Shanghai will be a lasting memory for her.
Director Yan Xiao-tian mentioned Chinese medicine including acupuncture is a real treasure. She hopes students can further explore this treasure and transmit acupuncture knowledge in their home countries. She also mentioned that International Education College will always be the alma mater for students and therefore they are welcome to be back any time.
At the end of the ceremony, all students got their course-completion certificates.
