Objective: To understand essential theories and fundamental techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion; be familiar with locations and indications of 120 common points; and be able to treat 22 common conditions with acupuncture and moxibustion.

 Course contents:
[3.1] Theory of yin, yang, five elements, qi, blood, body fluids, zang-fu organs, and etiology & pathogenesis
[3.2] Tongue diagnosis
[3.3] Pulse diagnosis
[3.4] Syndrome differentiation according to the eight principles, qi, blood and zang-fu organs
[3.5] Running courses of meridians
[3.6] Locations and indications of points
[3.7] Needling technique
[3.8] Treatment principle, pattern identification and formula (of points) for common conditions
 Language: Taught in Chinese and translated into English, French, Japanese and Korean.
 Theory Lesson Location: 530, Lingling road, Xuhui District, Shanghai (near Dong’an road Station, Metro Line 4/ 7, beside Longhua Hospital)
 Course Frequency: Once a year
 Date and Duration:

[7.3] Clinical Time: 8:30-11:10 and 13:30-15:30
 Accommodation: applicant could hand in dormitory application form to university. The most convenient dormitory is student dormitory with address 650 Wanping Road (s).
 Certificate: Upon completion of all required courses and passing of all required examinations.
