1. Program orientation：The course aims to comprehensively improve the student’s Chinese Language proficiency. Through a variety of engaging classroom teaching and cultural experience activities, students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are fortified, and practical communication in their daily life and work are enhanced.

Main language courses：
√ | Basic: Includes basic Chinese reading, speaking and listening. Suitable for non-native Chinese speaking students with zero basics in Chinese language. |
√ | Elementary: Includes basic Chinese reading, speaking and listening. Suitable for non-native Chinese speaking students; but are required to have mastered about 1000 common vocabulary or have learned Chinese for at least half a year. |
√ | Intermediate: Includes intermediate Chinese reading, speaking and listening. Suitable for non-native Chinese speaking students; but are required to have mastered about 2000 common vocabulary or have learned Chinese for at least a year. |
√ | Advanced: Includes advanced Chinese reading, speaking and listening. Suitable for non-native Chinese speaking students; but are required to have mastered about 2500 common vocabulary or have learned Chinese for at least a year and half. |

According to government regulations, all international students are to be under insurance coverage. Students are required to purchase insurance covering 6 months upon registration. Students who do not complete insurance payment according to yearly government-advised prices (insurance fee for 2021 is 400 RMB for 6 months) may be denied registration or dismissed from the University. Payment of application fees through bank transfer requires indication of applicant’s passport name and application number under remittance information.
